Sony Xperia S sneaking into Canada on April 17 on the Rogers Network

Xperia S

Sony has announced that the Xperia S will be launching in Canada on April 17 on the Rogers wireless network running Android Gingerbread 2.3 upgradable to Android 4.0 at a later date. Availability is limited and is exclusive to Sony stores across Canada. The Xperia S does not come equipped with LTE so this will be on the Edge/3G/HSPA+ network.

Sony has confirmed you can pick up the Xperia S for $99 on a 3yr term.

The Xperia S features a 1.5GHZ dual-core processor, 4.3″ 1280×720 Reality Display, 720P front facing camera, 1080P 12MP rear facing camera, and 32GB of internal storage. Keep in mind there is no micro SD storage slot with the Xperia S so you will need to take advantage of the HD sharing through DLNA, HDMI and using BRAVIA Sync for controlling your Xperia S with your TV remote control when connected to the TV.
