Phantom of the Opera Streams for Free on Youtube

Cancel your plans tonight if you are in the mood for some Andrew Lloyd Webber. As Andrew Lloyd Webber has teamed up with Universal to stream a different musical each Friday on the The Shows Must Go On Youtube Channel, you can catch your favorite act for free for 48 hours only on Youtube. The first week was Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (which we missed!), and next up was Jesus Christ Superstar. A schedule has not yet been released but rumor has it we could see EvitaSchool of Rock, and even Cats.

From Phantom of The Opera at the Royal Albert Hall (2011): In celebration of the 25th Anniversary of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera, Cameron Mackintosh produced a unique, spectacular staging of the musical on a scale which had never been seen before. Inspired by the original staging by Hal Prince and Gillian Lynne, this lavish, fully-staged production set in the sumptuous Victorian splendour of London’s legendary Royal Albert Hall features a cast and orchestra of over 200, plus some very special guest appearances.

The free stream starts at 2:00 pm ET today, and sadly disappears in 48 hours. (24hrs if you are in the UK). You can click below to watch the free stream.
