HP TouchPad Revealed

Posted by Jamie Forestell

HP has announced a  9.7-inch TouchPad (finally we may have a contender for the iPad), running webOS 3.0, featuring a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor and a Rechargeable 6300 mAh (typical) battery. The tablet will come with 16GB or 32GB storage. The media formats supported indicate MPEG-4, H.263, and H.264.  The tablet only has 1 front facing camera, and at 1.3mp, not very competitive. The TouchPad will come in 3G and Wifi models both, and will be available Summer 2011. No price has yet  been indicated.
