Telus has announced the pricing of the HTC Desire HD will be $499 with no contract. Contract options are available as follows:


1 year term   $449.99

2 year term   $399.99

3 year term 349.99 $149.99 

‡ Available until March 1, 2011, for clients who activate or renew on a 3 year term with a Voice and Data rate plan of $50 or greater, or on a BlackBerry Social or BlackBerry Email & IM rate plan. TELUS reserves the right to modify eligible rate plans with this offer at any time without advance notice.

  1. Just bought one and couldnt be more happy…but…yes there is a but….Telus charged me $577.64 when all was said and done. Bought the phone off contract and was charged an extra $50 “off contract fee”. The rest was all tax and i bought it in alberta which has no pst. little more than i wanted to spend, but none the less the best phone i have ever had. Takes crazy awesome pictures.

  2. Buye, call Telus and they will issue a refund of the difference. I had an authorized reseller charge me extra when i bought my Desire (non HD) and all I had to do was fax my bill and debit reciept to them.
