Samsung hints at 8.9 inch tablet for March 22

Today Samsung sent out emails to various media outlets promoting their “Samsung Mobile Unpacked” event at CTIA’s Mobile Life 2011 conference in Orlando, FL later this month. The email asks “What’s your Tab life?” followed by the cryptic number “78910”. So what does it all mean?

Well since we all know Samsung has already launched a 7-inch Galaxy Tab Android tablet last year, and last month they demoed the Galaxy Tab 10.1 inch… is it safe to speculate we will see a mid-sized 8.9 inch version of the Galaxy Tab? 7… 8.9… 10?

We shall see what Samsung has in store for us on March 22nd, as I personally believe 8-inch form factors could prove to be the most usable tablet size in the long run.
