Skype adds Video Calling for iPhone

Skype for iPhone

Skype has released a new version of Skype for iPhone which allows for video calling from and to iPhones. I was able to try a video call today and have to say I am super impressed. Skype video calling will allow iPhone users to connect to other iPhone users, and also skpe users on Windows/Mac. And for those iPhone 4 users, yes both front and rear cameras work. The call quality was fantastic. There was no delay with the audio during a wifi to wifi video call, from an iPhone to Windows Skype. The video, however was good, but not great. No delays were encountered, just noticable pixelation. Comparing the video quality to facetime, Skype lacked quite a bit, but did make up for in lag as there was none present. So what are you waiting for. Go get your free Skype client now!
