Companies are finding it hard to keep new products and concepts from being exposed prior to launch. With the iPhone 4 being perhaps the biggest leak yet, there have been many others. The sony “playstation phone”, otherwise known as the Ericsson Xperia Play has been the headline of many blog posts and youtube videos, and this newest video shows a nice hands on view. The smartphone is rumored to have a large 4″ LCD screen of FWVGA resolution (854 x 480 pixels). Powering the phone should be a 1GHz Qualcomm CPU with the Adreno 205 GPU and 512 MB of RAM (double that of the current iPad). A microSD card slot will also be present allowing for removable storage, and also a 3.5mm audio jack, which is fairly standard for smartphones these days. The phone will be sporting Android 2.3 Gingerbread as the Operating System of choice, will contain 5MB photo camera, 720P HD video, and also a 1500 MaH battery. See the video below. This phone looks rather big, but considering the slideout controls, this is definetely going to be a top selling smartphone sooner then later. As always Tek Tok will try to bring you more information as soon as we have it, so stay tuned!
