Netflix Launches in Canada!

Finally, Canadians can enjoy digital movie rentals from Netflix.  Netflix.ca is offering a 1 Month Free Trial for a limited time only. After the first month, you can subscribe via credit card or paypal for $7.99 per month.  Netflix has several methods of streaming.

• PC/MAC
• Wii
• Playstation 3 (PS3)
• iPhone/iPad
• Xbox 360 (Coming Soon!!)

Tektok had the chance to test out streaming and will be providing a full review so stay tuned! From our initial testing, we are very pleased with the movie content available for streaming. The television section, however is a little light in content, which we expected, but did hope to find  a larger percentage of Canadian shows.

If you are interested in streaming movies to the Wii, you will need to request a CD from netflix which ships for free that will install netflix as an application on your Wii.
