iPhone 4S Canada Pricing Plans Released

The all new iPhone 4S is launching in Canada on October 14 and we have some information on pricing and availability.  The Telus pre-order system went live at 3AM EST and now lists the following price plans:

Telus iPhone 4S Pricing

  • iPhone 4S 16GB – $159.00
  • iPhone 4S 32GB – $269.00
  • iPhone 4S 64GB – $369.00

The new iPhone is available via the Telus Pre Order system which is now live. Telus is offering $45 and $60 Promo Plans which include voice and data. If you are wondering if you are eligble to upgrade at these prices, click here for more information.

Rogers has yet to announce pricing plans and their Pre Order system is not up and running until 6 AM EST.

Rogers Pre Order

We reached out to Rogers via Twitter to find out about early HUP for any existing customers that locked into 3 year contracts when the iPhone 4 came out, but so far no new information has been released. Rogers used to allow for 12 month option but in May 2011 this was changed to 24 months.Rogers

What does this mean? It means any customers who purchased an iPhone 4 last June are not able to pick up the iPhone 4S without penalty. If you are with Rogers, you can visit this link to find out more. In the past Rogers has allowed customers upgrading from the iPhone 3G to the iPhone 3GS the option to upgrade without penalty. And likewise when the iPhone 4 was launched, however it appears that Rogers will not be allowing any early adopters the option to upgrade to the iPhone 4S without penalty.

If you are a Bell customer, you are in luck as the Pre Order system is also live and running. Pricing plans are as follows:

3 Year Contract Price:

  • iPhone 4S 16GB – $159.95
  • iPhone 4S 32GB – $269.95
  • iPhone 4S 64GB – $369.95

No Contract Price

  • iPhone 4S 16GB – $649.95
  • iPhone 4S 32GB – $769.95
  • iPhone 4S 64GB – $869.95

Bell is currently listing 3 voice and data plans starting at $55 per month. There has been rumor of a 5GB plan for $55 that may be of interest as well. For more information visit Bell.

You can also pre order the iPhone 4S online at Apple.ca.

For those anxious customers that are pre-ordering you may wish to look into the fine print and ensure you know what you are signing up for. It would appear if you are reserving a device, the device ships to you and will not be held at your local store. So if you decide to line up at 4 AM on October 14 hoping to get your shiny new iPhone 4S, you may be surprised that the store does not have your device on hold. Please contact your carrier of choice to ensure their policy.

We would like to know, will you be lining up for the iPhone 4S? Do you think the iPhone 4S is a contender for 2011/2012 with the competition?

  1. Have anyone tried SIRI in Canada? I’m hearing that it’s not working very well. None of the providers is putting SIRI forward on their web site. Not even Apple on their Canadian iPhone 4S page as you can see:

Isn’t SIRI what the iPhone 4S all about? Why would I upgrade then?

  2. Siri does work in Canada an works well. The ability to use Siri for location based services does not work in Canada until early 2012. Unfortunately this was not relayed to anyone until the day the phone launched. If you get the chance to visit a retail store, I am sure they would have an iPhone 4S with Siri for you to try.
