Valve to release Counter-Strike: Global Offensive in 2012

Well there are few games that I continue to play years after launch, but Counter Strike is one of them. Counter-Strike Source is one of the most popular games and continues to grow year after year. Some great news has emerged today and we may be seeing a revised Counter-Strike as early as Q1, 2012.

Valve is expected to make an official press release today with more details. What we do know so far is we should expect to see classic weapons and maps, as well as new weapons. The engine appears to be on an updated Source engine as well.

Stay tuned for more details today! If you play CSS still, comment with your steam name and I may just pop in your server for some pwnage.
