Call of Duty Black Ops Free Weekend starts today

When I logged in to my Steam account this morning, I happened to notice that Call of Duty Black Ops Free Weekend was listed in my purchased games. 

It looks like anyone that has yet to experience Call of Duty MultiPlayer can do so free for the entire weekend starting today! I have to admit, it will be tough for me to ignore Counter Strike Source for an entire weekend, but I think I may just have to experience Black Ops on the PC.

To initiate the free weekend, simply login to Steam and the game is available for download or click here for more information. If you do not yet have Steam you can create a free account and download Black Ops through Steam. 

Minimum System Requirements:

– OS: Windows Vista/XP/7
– Processor: Intel Core2 Duo E6600 or AMD Phenom X3 8750 or better
– Memory: 2GB
– HDD: 12GB
– Video: Shader 3.0 or better 256MB NVIDIA GeForce 8600GT/ATI Radeon X1950Pro or better
– Sound: DirectX 9.0c-compatible
– DirectX: 9.0c
And unfortunately Call of Duty Black Ops is not yet available for Mac through Steam.  Hopefully soon! Enjoy your free weekend of Black Ops.
