DataViz has been acquired by Research In Motion (RIM)

Documents to Go Makers, DataViz, have been acquired by Research In Motion.  Last week, DataViz announced further development for the WebOS Docs To Go would cease, and one might wonder if this will have any impact to the iOS versions.  RIM has confirmed the acquisition with the following statement;

RIM has acquired some of the assets of DataViz and hired the majority of its employees to focus on supporting the BlackBerry platform. Terms of the deal were not disclosed but the transaction was not material to RIM in the context of RIM’s financial results.
